22.02.2016 Address of the International Centre of the Roerichs

As it came to out knowledge, there will be a meeting of the Board of the Ministry of Culture of the Russian Federation on February 16, 2016 on the subject of the establishment of a state museum of Roerich in the Moscow Lopoukhin Mansion, i.e. in the very premises wherein the non-governmental Museum named after Nicholas Roerich of the International Centre of the Roerichs (ICR) has been established and has been successfully carrying out its activities for 26 years now and in fact continues to do so until the present moment.

In the last decade of November a regular stage of the exhibition project “Roerich Pact. History and Modernity” concluded in the Art Kaarisilta gallery in Helsinki, Finland with positive results. The exhibition was continuing its work from 17 to 22 November 2015.

The project “Roerich Pact. History and Modernity” continues its path at the UN office in Vienna after project presentations at the UN headquarters in New York and UN office in Geneva. This exhibition of the International Centre of the Roerichs has been established due to the active support of the Russian compatriots living in Vienna who do not forget their national backgrounds and ties with Russian culture.

17.10.2015 The celebrations of the 141st anniversary of Nicholas Roerich and the 80th anniversary of the Roerich Pact in the International Roerich Memorial Trust

It was the traditional shanti-puja that opened the celebrations of the 141^st anniversary of Nicholas Roerich and the 80^th anniversary of the Roerich Pact for the protection of historic monuments in the International Roerich Memorial Trust.

On August 26 in honour of Mrs. Lyudmila V. Shaposhnikova a special puja was conducted in the Roerich Estate. It was Gita-path, a holy rite accompanied by the chanting of Bhagavad Gita, one of the most venerated spiritual and philosophical texts of the world.
