H.E. Mrs R.I. Otunbayeva, former president of Kyrgyzstan Republic visited the ICR exhibition “The Roerich Pact. History and Modernity”

Mrs Roza I. Otunbayeva, prominent state and public person, ex-president of Kyrgyzstan Republic, founder of the International Foundation “Roza Otunbayeva's Initiative”, visited the exhibition “The Roerich Pact. History and Modernity” organized by the International Centre of the Roerichs in the UN Office at Geneva. After viewing the exposition she wrote about her impressions in the guest book. For a long time Mrs Otunbayeva has been interested in the creative heritage of the Roerich family and especially in its contribution to the preservation of world cultural monuments. From the end of 1980-es being in the position of Senior Secretary (later Chairperson) of the Commission on UNESCO affairs she contributed a lot for the promotion of our cultural and spiritual heritage. She visited many places connected with Nicholas Roerich, his Central-Asian expedition and his oeuvre including Moscow, New York and Bangalore (India).
