Works of the Winners of the Children’s Drawing Competition Exhibited in IRMT

Within the framework of the celebration of the anniversaries of Nicholas, Svetoslav and Helena Roerichs in the International Roerich Memorial Trust the exhibition of the works by the winners of the international children’s drawing competition organized under the motto “From the Rhythms of Time towards the Treasures of the Universe” has been inaugurated. The competition is organized on the regular basis by the interregional non-governmental organization Assembly of the Continental Cultures’ Achievements “Heritage” headed by Mrs. N. Pivovarova.

The Chief Guests of the exhibition were the Ambassador of the Russian Federation in India Alexander Kadakin and Deputy Commissioner of Kullu cum Director of the IRMT Mr. Rakesh Kanwar. Many of the drawings by young artists are dedicated to India and its cultural traditions. There are also some drawings of the Roerichs. Some drawings were created under a strong impression of the inspired Himalayan landscapes of Nicholas Roerich.
