Ambassador's visit to the ICR

February, 24 - Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador of the Republic of India to the Russian Federation, H.E. Mr. P.S. Raghavan with his wife Mrs. Barbara Raghavan, Deputy Director General of Jawaharlal Nehru Cultural Centre Mr. Sanjay Jain and Ambassador Secretary for Public Relations Ms. Zainab Azimova visited the non-governmental Museum named after Nicholas Roerich of the International Centre of the Roerichs.

Indian guests familiarized themselves with the exposition of Museum named after Nicholas Roerich with a keen interest. Mr. Raghavan highly appreciated the work of museum employees on preservation, research and popularization of the Roerichs heritage.

After viewing the permanent museum exposition H.E. Mr. Ambassador was engaged in listening the message addressed by the ICR President Mr. A.P.Losyukov and Vice-President A.V.Stetsenko about the work of International Centre of the Roerichs and its international activity. Mr. Ambassador showed a particular interest in the following ICR directions: cooperation with International Roerich Memorial Trust (India, Naggar) and international exhibition project of the ICR “The Roerich Pact. History and Modernity” which is successfully being established in many countries of the world, including India.
