On the 22nd February, a special conference of the International Roerich Centre was held.

For the position of the ICR President there was elected Alexander Prokhorovich Losjukov, Head of the International Roerichs’ Heritage Preservation Committee, and for the position of Vice President – Alexander Vitaljevich Stetcenko, First Deputy General Director of the Museum named after Nicholas Roerich.

On that day joint deliberation among representatives of around 100 nongovernmental cultural organizations from Russia and neighboring countries including those related to the Roerichs’ heritage took place. Two open letters to the Russian Federation President and Moscow Mayor were approved.
