Third Volume of Complete Collection of Letters by Helena Roerich

Helena Roerich. Letters. In nine volumes. Vol. 3 (1935) – 2nd revised and enlarged edition / Compiling editor, notes Knijnik T.O. – M.: International Centre of the Roerichs, 2016, 832 p., illustrated.

Publisher department issued third volume of the complete collection of letters by Helena Roerich, an outstanding Russian thinker, writer and devotee. The complete collection of letters from Manuscript Department of the International Centre of the Roerichs, includes letters dated 1935 addressed mainly to Nicholas and George Roerich, who at that time were members of Manchurian expedition, to the members of the Roerichs Museum in New-York as well as to the members of Latvian Roerich Society. Documents presented in the edition reflect active work of Helena Roerich on implementation of the project on organized protection of cultural heritage of humanity (The Roerich Pact and the Banner of Peace). They can also be considered as a priceless historical document, which captured the history of establishment of spiritual and cultural movement connected to the name of the Roerichs.

Epistolary heritage of Helena Roerich is directly related to books of the Living Ethics philosophic system and can be considered as great help to those who study these books.
