On August 16 the Anniversary of George Roerich was celebrated in the Roerich Estate in Naggar, Kullu Distt.


09.08.2015 IRMT-ICR Exhibition on Roerich Visits the Himalayan Valley of Chamba

The exhibition "N.K. Roerich: Life and Creative work " took place in the ancient Indian town of Chamba. It was organized by the International Roerich Memorial Trust (Naggar, Kullu Valley, India) and the International Centre of the Roerichs (Moscow, Russia) under support of the Embassy of the Russian Federation in India (New-Delhi).


09.06.2015 Оf Buddhas and Mountains: Maharashtra Artists Exhibit in Roerich Estate in Naggar


On May 27, 2015 an exhibition of the works by three young professional artists from Kolhapur (Maharashtra) opened in the IRMT. They have already exhibited thrice together and now decided to visit Naggar and display their art before the Indian and foreign visitors of the Himalayan Roerich Estate.

In the Kullu Valley (West Himalayas), where the Roerichs’ estate is situated, the Naggar Mela, the local fair and the most important event in the religious-cultural life of the village, took place in May.


18.05.2015 Children’s Painting Competition held in the Himalayan Roerich Estate


More than 120 children took part in the Children’s Painting Competition held in the Himalayan Roerich Estate, Naggar (International Roerich Memorial Trust) The competition was organized on May 3, 2015 within the framework of celebrating the 80th anniversary of the Roerich Pact and the 70th anniversary of Victory over fascism in the Great Patriotic War.


18.05.2015 The Exhibition Project “The Roerich Pact. History and Modernity” continues its tour around India


On May 15 the exhibition opened in the capital of India New Delhi, in the Azad Bhavan Art Gallery of the Indian Council for Cultural Relations (ICCR).


12.05.2015 The UNESCO Director-General Irina Bokova visited the Non-Governmental Museum named after Nicholas Roerich of the International Centre of the Roerichs


On May 10, 2015 the UNESCO Director-General Mrs. Irina Bokova, during her stay in Moscow at the celebration of the 70th anniversary of Victory in the Great Patriotic War, paid a visit to the non-governmental Museum named after Nicholas Roerich of the International Centre of the Roerichs. Mrs. Bokova’s visit was a tribute to Nicholas Roerich – an outstanding figure of Russian and world culture, who conceived and offered the Roerich Pact to humanity – the first comprehensive international treaty aimed at protecting the cultural heritage of mankind.

The festivities dedicated to the 70th anniversary of the Great Victory have started in the Roerich Estate in the Western Himalayas (International Roerich Memorial Trust).

On April 15, 2015 at UN headquarters in New York, the ICR exhibition on the 80th anniversary of signing the Roerich Pact - treaty on the protection of artistic and scientific institutions and historical monuments - was inaugurated.


16.04.2015 Gala evening dedicated to the 80th anniversary of the Roerich Pact in the ICR


On April 15, in the museum named after Nicholas Roerich of the ICR took place a solemn evening dedicated to the 80th anniversary of the Roerich Pact and the opening of the exhibition "Peace through Culture", which is dedicated to the 80th anniversary of the Roerich Pact, the 70th anniversary of the end of World War II and the Soviet victory in the Great Patriotic War, as well as 70 anniversary of the UN.
