Exhibition «The Roerich Pact. History and Modernity» opened in Tver

| The International Centre of the Roerichs and the International Roerichs' Heritage Preservation Committee organized the international exhibition project «The Roerich Pact. History and Modernity» dedicated to the 140th anniversary celebration of the birth of Nicholas Roerich and 2014 year which has been officially declared the Year of Culture in Russia. The travelling exhibition was held on February 21 in the ancient city of Tver, famous for its wealth of culture and history. The co-organizers were: Tver Regional Roerich Public Organization, The Tver city museum-exhibition centre and Tver Region department of the All-Russian Society for the Protection of Historical and Cultural Monuments (VOOPiK). |

| The International Centre of the Roerichs (ICR) and International Roerichs' Heritage Preservation Committee started a new phase of the exhibition project “The Roerich Pact. History and Modernity”. The traveling exhibition opened on February, 7 in Khanty-Mansiysk, Khanty-Mansiysky Autonomous District - Yugra under the auspices of Natalia V. Komarova. |

| A winter day of 12 February 2014 in the Himalayan Roerichs' estate in Naggar was spring-like and sunny. Snow recently fallen and already being melted was sparkling; bright pink camellia flowers and yellow stars of jasmine; snow covered mountain slopes and the fragrance of daffodils on thaw holes... Himalayan nature met the birthday of its great daughter with great solemnity, purity and elegance. |

Buddhist festival Kagyu Monlam Chenmo

| In mid-December 2013 in the North-East of India in Bodhgaya (the State of Bihar) the annual Buddhist festival Kagyu Monlam Chenmo was held. Traditionally it lasts for a week. In 2013 the organizers set the exact dates of the annual prayer festival - from 14 to 21 December. |

We won't let to destroy the Non-Governmental Museum named after Nicholas Roerich

| On the 14th of January, the International Centre of Roerichs (ICR) held a news conference for Russian and foreign journalists under the title "The Year of Culture in Russia: does Russia need the Non-governmental Museum named after Nicholas Roerich?" A couple of dozens of print and on-line mass media representatives were accredited. |

Exhibition "The Roerich Pact. History and modernity" in Santiago

| The opening of the exhibition "The Roerich Pact. History and Modernity" dedicated to the 80th anniversary of signing of the first international Treaty on the Protection of Artistic and Scientific Institutions and Historic Monuments took place on November 21 in Russian Centre of Science and Culture in Santiago. The exhibition is a part of the international exhibition project implemented by the International Centre of the Roerichs (Moscow) under the auspices of UNESCO and Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation. |
