The Art of Calligraphy by Artist Harish Verma at IRMT
An exhibition of paintings by renowned calligrapher Harish Verma from Jalandhar (Punjab) was held at the Exhibition Hall of the International Roerich Memorial Trust. The exhibition was inaugurated on June 11, 2023.
Harish Verma is widely known for his achievements in the arts and has won several prestigious awards. His main passion is calligraphy, the ancient art of writing for which India is famous.

“Amidst Nature.” Exhibition of Watercolors by Bhupinder Dhutti
The grand opening of the exhibition of artist Bhupinder Dhutti from Delhi was held at the Conference Hall of the International Roerich Memorial Trust on June 9 this year. The Chief Guest was artist Krishna Tashi Palmo, a specialist in Buddhist Thangka painting.

Good news from Bangalore (Karnataka, India)
In Bangalore, the capital city of the state of Karnataka, the Svetoslav Roerich and Devika Rani Roerich Estate Board is undertaking a major effort to inspect, conserve and restore the collection of Dr. Svetoslav Roerich’s paintings.
The traditional spring children’s painting competition was held at the International Roerich Memorial Trust on April 18, 2023. It was dedicated to several dates at once: the International Day of Monuments and Sites, the 115-th birth anniversary of Devika Rani Roerich and also the start of the new phase of the Children and Youth Festival of Russian-Indian Friendship “Russia - India: from Heart to Heart”.

The traditional spring Russian-Indian Roerich Cultural Festival took place at the International Roerich Memorial Trust. This year the Festival was dedicated to the 115-th Birth anniversary of Devika Rani, “The First Lady” of Indian cinema, wife and muse of the outstanding Russian artist Svetoslav Roerich.

The Day of the Spiritual Teachers of Humanity in the Roerichs’ Estate in the Himalayas
The festive day on March 24, 2023 in the International Roerich Memorial Trust was traditionally marked by spring flower planting. Children's Day at the Roerich International Memorial Trust
On November 14, Bal Divas, or Children's Day, is celebrated annually in India. This holiday was established to honor the birthday of Jawaharlal Nehru, a prominent statesman and the first Prime Minister of independent India.
Nehru always believed that the future of a nation lies in the impeccable care of children. His dream was to see children who had a sense of dignity, children who were confident in their abilities and possibilities.
