“Roerichs’ Realm” Children and Youth Festival at the International Roerichs Memorial Trust (India, Kullu, Naggar)
The jubilee year of the Roerichs is reaching its
conclusion. In the Himalayan Estate of Nicholas Roerich and his family, this
year was marked by a series of events, one of which was the International
Festival of Children and Youth Creativity, entitled 'Roerichs' Realm'. The
Festival was organised by the International Centre of the Roerichs with the
support of volunteers from different countries.

«The Beginning» - Exhibition by Khabbab Ahmed and Mohammad Momin at the Roerich Estate in Naggar
On the 8th of November, the International Roerichs Memorial Trust's exhibition hall played host to the inaugural event of a joint exhibition of two notable artists from Punjab, father and son, Khabbab Ahmed and Mohammad Momin. Entitled 'The Beginning', the exhibition marked the beginning of a fruitful collaboration between the two artists. The title was selected by the artists themselves, and it is notable that this is their first professional exhibition. The opening of the exhibition was attended by the Russian and Indian curators of the International Roerichs Memorial Trust, as well as other guests and employees of the Trust.

Exhibition by Aroma Gaur and Pomi Trail at the Roerich Estate, Naggar
On the 1st of December, an exhibition of two remarkable artists, Aroma Gaur and Pomi Trail, was inaugurated in the Exhibition Hall of the International Roerich Memorial Trust. The opening ceremony was attended by the Russian and Indian curators of the IRMT, namely Larisa Surgina and Suresh Kumar, as well as Trust staff, family members of both artists, children and teachers of the H. Roerich Art Academy and other guests.

The exhibition «Tribute to Svetoslav Roerich» by Lola Lonli at the Roerich Estate
On October 23rd, an exhibition of the Russian artist, cosmist, and researcher of global cultures, Lola Lonli, was inaugurated at the International Roerich Memorial Trust to commemorate the 120th anniversary of Svetoslav Roerich's birth.

On 5 October, Helena Roerich's Memorial Day, the exhibition 'Call of the Himalayas' by Russian cosmist artist Maria Ivanova opened in the exhibition hall of the International Roerich Memorial Trust.

Celebration of the 120th Anniversary of the Birth of Svetoslav Roerich at the Roerich Estate in Naggar
On 23 October 2024, the International Roerich Memorial Trust held commemorative events to mark the 120th birth anniversary of Svetoslav Roerich, a prominent Russian artist, researcher, and philosopher. In emulation of his father, Nicholas Roerich, Svetoslav Roerich adopted the motto "Let us strive for the Beautiful!" as a guiding principle in his life.

Conference ‘Maharishi Nicholas Roerich, Great Friend of India’ at the Roerich Estate in Naggar
On 10-11 October, the International Roerich Memorial Trust hosted an international scientific and public Conference entitled 'Maharishi Nicholas Roerich, a Great Friend of India'. The Conference was organised by the IRMT in collaboration with the International Centre of the Roerichs (Moscow) and constituted part of the Festival commemorating the 150th birth anniversary of the celebrated Russian artist, philosopher, scientist and public figure.
It is noteworthy that the event was held at the Roerichs' estate in Naggar, situated in the Himalayas, where the artist resided for approximately two decades. From this remote mountain village, communication extended to global cultural and scientific hubs, as well as to esteemed contemporaries of Nicholas Roerich.

Opening of the exhibition ‘Master's Universe’ dedicated to 150th Birth Anniversary of Nicholas Roerich in Shimla
On 1 September 2024, the International Centre of the Roerichs (ICR, Moscow) and the International Roerich Memorial Trust (IRMT, India) jointly inaugurated an exhibition entitled 'Master's Universe' at the Lalit Kala Academy exhibition hall, situated within the historic Gaiety Theatre building in Shimla, India.

“Artistic Vision” in the Roerich Trust
On 6 June, the International Roerich Memorial Trust (IRMT) hosted the opening of an exhibition of 11 artists entitled "Artistic Vision". Organised by Studio Seven, the exhibition was inaugurated by Mr Anuj Sharma, Deputy District Attorney of Kullu district, Mrs Larisa Surgina, the Russian Curator of the IRMT, Mr Suresh Kumar, her Indian counterpart, as well as Indian and Russian guests and staff of the Roerich Trust.

Enchanting patterns of Himachal culture by Hemlata Thakur
From 29 May to 2 June, the Exhibition Hall of the International Roerich Memorial Trust hosted an exhibition of the artist Hemlata Thakur from Manali. This was not the artist's first exhibition at the IRMT; her works are a favourite of the Trust's visitors.
The inaugural event of the exhibition was held on 29 May. The opening ceremony of the exhibition was attended by Mrs Larisa Surgina, Russian Curator of the IRMT and an employee of the ICR (Moscow), and her colleague, Indian Curator of the IRMT Mr Suresh Kumar.

Exhibition of Gujarat artists at IRMT
On 24 May, the International Roerich Memorial Trust inaugurated an exhibition of artists from Vadodara, Gujarat. Among the attendees at the opening ceremony were Mrs Larisa Surgina, Russian Curator of the IRMT and an employee of the International Centre of the Roerichs (Moscow), Mr. Suresh Kumar, Indian Curator of the IRMT, and other distinguished guests. All attendees participated in an interactive and informative tour of the exhibition.
The rich traditions of the state are reflected in the works of the artists presented at the exhibition. A total of 15 artists working in different genres and techniques took part in the exhibition.
