For more than twenty years, Sadhna Sangar has been organizing exhibitions at the International Roerich Memorial Trust in Naggar.

One of the admirers of Ankush’s work is Russian artist Amia, who currently lives in Naggar. She was delighted to meet the artist and learn more about his creative journey. His works are distinguished by exceptional technical skill.

The exhibition featured 75 artworks created by twelve artists. Visitors had the opportunity to explore paintings executed in watercolor, acrylic, oil, charcoal, and mixed media.

From May 6 to May 10, an exhibition by Russian artist Amiya was held at the International Roerich Memorial Trust in Naggar.

Most of the artworks presented at the exhibition depict the landscapes, architecture, and everyday life of the Indian states of Maharashtra, Kerala, Karnataka, and Rajasthan. Through their paintings, visitors could explore historic streets, fishing villages, mountain scenery, traditional markets, and scenes of daily life. The artists vividly captured the diversity of India and the richness of its cultural traditions.

Nita Shrivastava’s paintings have received widespread recognition at national and international art exhibitions. But, according to the artist, the exhibition in the Himalayan valley of Kullu, at the memorial estate of the great Russian artist Nicholas Roerich, will hold a special place in her heart.

The atmosphere of joy and friendship, creativity and unity that reigned at the Festival lit up the sky over Naggar and filled hearts with a sense of closeness, hope, and warmth.

On March 18, the International Roerich Memorial Trust hosted a joint Russian-Indian event as part of the “Teacher in Art” cultural and educational project, initiated by Tomsk State Pedagogical University (TSPU).

The group exhibition featured paintings and artistic photographs by 20 artists. Five of them, along with the organizer, Sikandra Jangra, took an immediate part in the opening of the exhibition.

From January 7 to 9, 2026, the International Memorial Roerich Trust hosted an exhibition of paintings by a group of Indian artists, organized by the creative association “LA Art Convention”.
