Historical Buildings of the Lopukhins’ Estate Transferred to ICR for Free Use

On August 21, 2014 the Mayor of Moscow S.S. Sobyanin signed the order of the Moscow municipal government № 452-RP “On the Transfer of the Non-Residential Buildings 4 and 7 Located on 3/5, Maly Znamensky Lane, Moscow to the International Non-Governmental Organization “International Centre of the Roerichs” for Free Use.” It should be reminded that the order concerns the historical buildings of the Lopukhins’ Estate, which house the Non-governmental Museum named after Nicholas Roerich of the International Centre of the Roerichs.

The International Centre of the Roerichs would like to express its sincere gratitude to the Mayor of Moscow Mr. Sobyanin and all members of the Moscow Administration for extending such a significant support to the activities of the Non-governmental Museum named after Nicholas Roerich. Such help rendered in the time of need that our non-governmental museum experiences at present, is truly valuable.
